5 ways to achieve an autumnul home

Changing the look of your home can be difficult from season to season, so hopefully these few ideas will transform you home. Although we came up with them there is still plenty of room to personalize it with your own style. All equipment should be lying around your house as we didn't need to spend a penny.

First to transform this empty space we added this decoration our one doesn't look very good as we rushed it but you could make it look much better. We achieved this by drawing the outline of a autumn leaf then cut it out and colour it vibrant colours. Then take a long piece of string or wool and make a hole through each leaf then thread them on tying a knot in the string before and after each leaf.(the knots should have a loop on them don't worry)For best affect use a ruler to evenly space them out.

This is defiantly our favourite. Just simply take a autumnal scarf and drape it across the surface then sprinkle a few sequins. And add any objects you want on show e.g we used a polaroid camera and photos.

Next idea is too add a colourful vase with some flowers. As you may be able too see we didn't have any flowers so we cut some leaves and plants from the garden and arranged them in a vase. It may not be to everybody's taste but we personally love it.

This idea is simple yet quirky and a great way to display photos. All we did is paint a shoe box lid two different autumnal colours (best to use acrylic paint) and leave it to dry overnight. Then using a pritt stick glue your photos (use however many you can fit). Strange fact we used our fingers to paint this as we didn't have a paint brush #itgotmessy

Last but not least lighting some candles. This is obvious but affective, we usually place our candles in trios as we find it looks the best and when it gets dark it looks amazing.

The finished look P.S we had too show off our delicious cookies
